CCC Event
This past Saturday I attended the 2nd (and I believe annual but don't quote me) Concert Classroom Corner event hosted by Epiphany Fellowship. The above picture is actually an image from their event two years ago, I haven't loaded my pics on my computer yet for this years event.
At any rate I absolutely love to go to one of their outreaches because I find that Christ is represented and the people fed, both spiritually and physically. Although there were many fellow believers out there, nice to see familiar faces and some not so familiar ones but who's faith was apparent. There were an obvious mix of unbelievers in the crowds as well, able to chew on some free fish and water ice while also sitting under the word of God rather it was through the Christian rappers singer and poet presented. Or the word given by Duce as he told the crowed what we were really there for and for whom the hype was about which is Jesus the Christ. It's the kind of thing that if you are already out there in the trenches getting at the people than it's encouragement to keep that going. And if not, the drive needed to get it going and a reminder of the fact that it's God who draws them we just make ourselves available to be used by Him as He calls and equips us to get out there in the 1st place.
All of the artists ministered IMO but I was especially impressed by Lecrae. He has this get the crowd hypness about him so to speak:) While at the same time it being evident that it's not about getting the crowd hype off of him or his music. Having fun but Jesus being the center of what he does AND showing how it can be done in Him. Honestly can say that about all of the artist there actually that I'm familiar with at least that ministered yet and probably because that was my 1st time really seeing Lecrae rap live it was like wow this young man ain't playing LOL mos def about his Father's business.
Already counting down to next years event Lord willing I'll be there and get to witness as well as volunteer to be of assistance where needed.
